Bag

I'm wondering why I have a backpack, I think a suitcase would be much easier really. It's only because it's tradition, we all get caught up with our traditions don't we.
Anyway here's all the vitally interesting things about my luggage:

climbing harness, shoes, ATC belay, safety, prosic, 3 carabiners.
medical/ first aid kit, washbag
shoulder bag with inner zip
sunglasses
waterbottle
wallett
2 small padlocks

Electonics:
A bag of adapters, leads, charging units for old nokia phone, new cheap smart phone, camera, Kindle, mp3 player, head torch.

Paperwork wallet: passport, licences, tickets, photocopies, bookings, notepad and pen.

Warm clothes: down jacket, light weight fleece, 2 long sleeved merino tops, small cardi, thin green zipper top, multi use thin sarong scarf, cargo trousers, slightly smarter trousers, leggings, hiking socks, waterproof trousers, waterproof jacket.
Other wardrobe: 1 tshirt, 2 thin merino tshirts, 4 sleeveless tops, swim wear, rash vest, shorts, 2 simple dresses, lightweight trousers, underwear for a week.
Flipflops and Brasher walking/hiking shoes. Spare laces.

Weighs about 18Kg.

Bag Update

I´ve left the tent and climbing gear out for South America bit of the trip to be more lightweight and nimble. Main pack is about 10-11kg now. I also don´t need a least an hour re repack everything, as before it was so full, the only way to get everything in was precision packing, a wrongly folded pair of socks would throw the whole thing out.
